ATC has a long history of working for government agencies, and now being on the Environmental Services schedule, we can provide an even more time efficient way of using our environmental services.  Our GSA contract allows any Federal agency to expedite contracting procedures by negotiating directly with ATC and its professional staff. Our qualifications, services and rates have been evaluated and preapproved by the General Services Administration. Delivery orders for services can be easily generated for competitive or sole-source procurements. You benefit, because we can begin to develop solutions for your project almost immediately. With ATC's 65 offices nationwide, you have access to competent resources when and where you need them to provide on-time and on-budget services.

Our GSA Environmental Services Schedule
Under the GSA Environmental Services contract, services that we can perform are identified according to Special Item Numbers (SIN). Our SIN categories are listed below.

SIN 899-1: Environmental Planning Services and Documentation:  We have more than 20 years experience gathering and analyzing information to develop land resource management plans and to comply with the National Environmental Policy Act. Whether you need archaeological, paleontological, environmental planning, or biological expertise, we can help. Services we provide under this GSA SIN number are:

  • Environmental Impact Statements under NEPA
  • Endangered Species and/or Wetlands Analysis
  • Archeological and/or Cultural Resources Management Plans
  • Environmental Program management and Environmental Regulation Development
  • Economic, Technical, and/or Risk Analyses
  • Vulnerability Assessments
  • Biochemical Protection
  • Identification and Mitigation of Threats
  • Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) Surveys

SIN 899-2: Environmental Compliance Services:  ATC offers a variety of Environmental Compliance services to assist our clients in managing their environmental risks.  Environmental Compliance services, typically include:

  • Environmental Compliance Audits
  • Compliance Management and/or Contingency Planning
  • Permitting
  • Spill Prevention/Control and Countermeasure Plans
  • Pollution Prevention Surveys
  • ISO 14000, Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
  • Community Right-to-Know Act Reporting

SIN 899-3: Environmental Occupational Training Services:   ATC has ten training locations around throughout the United States.  These locations, staffed with leading members of the environmental, health and safety community, make up the Environmental Training Division of ATC. Today, ATC Training Centers offer an unparalleled diversity of environmental, health and safety programs around the country.  These centers are located in Albany, New York; Atlanta, Georgia; Arcadia, California; Columbia, Maryland; West Springfield, Massachusetts; Portland, Oregon; New York, New York; Salt Lake City, Utah; and Seattle, Washington. 

ATC has developed and presented hundreds of public and private training courses each year for those involved in environmental, asbestos, lead, hazardous materials, and safety and health issues.  We also offer EPA and state approved asbestos courses and EPA and state accredited lead courses around the world. The American Board of Industrial Hygiene awards certification maintenance credits for many ATC courses. 

In addition to classroom-based training using slides, overheads and videos, ATC has developed non-classroom, web-based programs for self-paced training viewed at the student's own computer.  For instructions on how access our catalog and see a full list of courses and pricing, please scroll to the bottom of this page.  ATC provides:

SIN 899-4: Waste Management Services:   ATC provides a full range of services in the Waste Management arena.  We specialize in the following areas of expertise and offer our services as follows:

  • Review of Technologies and Processes Impacting Waste Management
  • Development of Waste Management Plans
    • Data Collection, Feasibility or Risk Analysis

SIN 899-8: Remediation Services:   ATC provides remedial service in every state and U.S. EPA region in the country.  Using both standard and innovative technologies, ATC can design, install, operate, and maintain integrated systems for the containment, recovery, and treatment of contaminated groundwater, soil, petroleum hydrocarbons, and hazardous wastes.  ATC's soil and groundwater remediation services include the following:

  • Preparation, Characterization, Field Investigation, Conservation and Closure of Site
  • Long Term Monitoring /Long Term Operation (LTM/LTO)
  • Containment, Monitoring and/or Reduction of Hazardous Waste Sites
  • Excavation, Removal, Transportation, Storage, Treatment and/or Disposal of Hazardous Waste
